I haven’t completed the GMAT or TOEFL Test. Can I still apply?
Please complete the on-line application and indicate the dates that
you propose to complete the GMAT and/or TOEFL tests.
I don’t think my GMAT or TOEFL score was high enough, what do I
do?
First contact our Tokyo office to explain your situation. It is
possible to take the GMAT and TOEFL tests again if necessary.
I don’t think I can get all the documents together before
April15th. What should I do?
Please complete the on-line application. The rest of the documents
can be sent to our offices in Montreal after you have completed the
application.
Are classes offered in English?
Yes, all lectures and materials are delivered in English.
My university will not send a transcript in English. What should
I do?
Take your original official transcript and confirmation of degree
to a certified translator. Send the original documents, and the certified
translation in English to Montreal.
Is the degree you receive the same as the one in Montreal?
Yes, it is exactly the same. Graduates of the McGill MBA Japan
program can participate in the Convocation Ceremony in Montreal.
I am not in Japan at the moment. Can I still apply to the McGill
MBA Japan program?
Yes. You will need to be in Tokyo when classes start the last
weekend of June.
Does McGill MBA Japan sponsor student visas?
Students in the McGill MBA Japan program are responsible for their
own visas.
I went to a university outside of North America. How do I know if
my degree is equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree?

I am Canadian. Is there a different fee structure for Canadians?
The McGill MBA Japan program has the same fees for students
regardless of nationality.
What are McGill’s MBA Rankings?
McGill does well in international rankings; including placing in
the top 16 outside the US in the Business Week ranking, 32nd in the world in
AmericaEnonomia, in the top 100 in the world in the Economist ranking, 11th
in Forbes for 2-year MBA programs outside the US, and 30th in North America
in the QS rankings.
McGill is preparing for AACSB membership and will be included in other
rankings as well.

Is McGill a fully accredited university?
Yes. McGill is fully accredited by the Ministry of Education of the
Government of Quebec to grant university degrees. McGill is also one of only
two Canadian members of the American Association of Universities, the most
prestigious group of institutes of higher learning in North America.
I don’t have an undergraduate degree. Is it still possible to
apply?
